APPLICATION OF COSMETIC COATINGS FOR PRODUCT ENHACEMENT
Various processes are available at RS Coatings for product enhancement. By combining Plastic Injection Moulding and the Application of Decorative Coatings innovative product finishes can be achieved. Traditional two-pack polyurethane and impact resistant cosmetic coatings are typically applied for protection and decoration. Brand or function recognition is also available through additional finishing processes like Pad Printing and Laser Etching.
ECO-FRIENDLY PAINT APPLICATION
RS Coatings is actively engaged in application techniques for The English Heritage Collection, traditional oil-based and water-based home paints virtually odourless and more eco-friendly. The English Heritage Collection takes inspiration from the key periods of interior design from 1760 to the 1950’s. In order to illustrate this traditional collection, display panel palettes are manufactured by RS Coatings using 21st century manufacturing techniques.
METALLIC EFFECTS
RS Coatings have recently developed an innovative coating method to obtain “Chrome, Mirror and Metallic Effect” finishes. The coatings used for this purpose are water based and the processes involved are environmentally friendly. Unlike the traditional electrolytic chroming our coatings do not contain toxic metals. The application of the “Chrome effect” family of coatings does not distort plastic components.
